In knowing the answers to tough questions about Christianity, you’d ask a Christian who knows what they’re talking about or read a theology book, not assume we can’t answer and make a meme mocking a caricature of our beliefs. When you do that, you’re showing everyone not only your ignorance concerning theological matters, but also that you are opposed to addressing the real questions and finding their true answers.

And you call Christians closed-minded fools?

When you attack so called new atheists, you’re attacking a straw man.  There are atheists (like myself) who know the theological matters.  Nonetheless, theology usually serves as a red herring.  Objection:  your god is a celestial ethnic cleanser; theology:  divine command theory.  I’m not in the business of calling people fools, but most Christians, especially on Tumblr, are closed-minded.  One can thoroughly address a point and they’ll sooner turn to ad hominem and abusive fallacies before conceding.  Yes, it is a melancholy truth that the atheism tag is filled with so called new atheists who make meme after meme — many of which are inaccurate and even distasteful.  However, that isn’t all of us.  Get your hands off the straws.
