The problem with ID is that it is supported because of religious beliefs; the same cannot be said of evolution. Evolution isn’t supported because it’s atheistic, but ID is supported because it’s theistic; Intelligent Design — design as in Designer, Creator, God. It’s obvious. Evolution says nothing about being godless, but it does explain life without need for such an invocation.
