On the Exclusivity of Christianity

revelation19:

Atheists have absolutely no room to blow the whistle on Christianity for being too exclusive when their position claims that 84% of the worlds population is delusional.

Our position doesn’t make such a claim.  Our position is simply a disbelief in gods.  Moreover, our position claims that it is likely the case that all religious people are wrong concerning the existence of their respective gods.  As you will notice though, that isn’t the same as saying that they’re all delusional.  In any case, even if all non-atheists are wrong, there is no penalty.  We have no hellfire to threaten non-atheists with; we have no god that promises to punish them that reject him.  Therefore, the exclusivity of Christianity is repulsive; Christians appeal to a savior that has shed his blood for an elect, to a god who punishes them who reject this savior even while they yet live and to a place of eternal punishment for them who didn’t live the Gospel properly.  Both are supported by the supposed word of this god they believe in.  Regardless, your post is irrelevant.  The only discussion you should be having with atheists is one where the veracity of your religion is discussed.  Herein lies the reason why we “blow the whistle on Christianity for being too exclusive”:  something so exclusive should be true; unfortunately, that isn’t the case.  Thus, stop condemning people to hell, stop preaching your religion as true, stop saying that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life,” and accept the fact that your religion isn’t true.  Either that or defend this ambiguous 84%.  Or, you can always settle for defending 30% (2.1/7 in billions) you pertain to.
