Perpetuating Ignorance

I saw this blogger posting anti-evolution nonsense on the atheism tag last week.  I decided to ask some questions and make some comments; like most Christians I come across, she decided to take advantage of my word limit and ask a barrage of easily answerable questions.  So, I drafted this post in order to address those questions.  I notified her about the post; I notified her again and I notified her again a few minutes ago.  She has resorted to ignoring my messages whilst answering every other message she receives.  See, I find these kind of people repulsive; they’re ignorant, but what I find more egregious is that they think they’re right and because of that, they don’t question their views.  Still more egregious is that they think they’re scientific; well, scientists don’t run around ignoring questions and/or outright challenges.  They discuss and when necessary, they debate.  However, she’s gone further.  She seriously thought that her ICR articles were unanswerable; she seriously thought that the articles from other creationist sites were irrefutable.  She seriously thought that they couldn’t be addressed.  Unfortunately, I’ve addressed them.  I answered her “13 evidences for creation” with no problem; I’m simply trying to educate her or at the very least bring her to question her erred view.  To think, I would be all ears if another theory explained everything that evolution explains and not just explain, but explain it just as well—if not better.  That’s the fundamental difference between people like me and people like her:  given the evidence, I would change my view; give them the evidence and they’ll ignore it, run to a site that coddles their confirmation bias and then pretend to respond to their opponents via the “wisdom” of some “Christian scientist”—whatever that is!  Why this post?  She’s perpetuating ignorance and I think it’s time my few messages turn into an overwhelming amount of messages from my lovely followers.  I would really appreciate it.
